God is spirit. Of course, God the Son became man for us and for our salvation. Nevertheless, in his eternal essence, God is not like we human beings who has flesh and bone; he has no body nor members. But, it is important to remember that as he describes himself to us, God speaks as if he had human characteristics. He does this so that we, who otherwise could understand very little about him, can understand something about his will. For this reason, in Psalm 145, the Lord God, Jehová, says: “The eyes of all wait upon you and you give them their food in due time.
